Building Surveying.

We provide Building Surveying services to a range of private and commercial clients, including condition surveys, dilapidations reports, measured surveys, maintenance strategies, schedules of condition and photographic schedules, and defect analysis. We have vast experience in the conversion of existing buildings, works to listed buildings, and those works to which the Building Regulations must be considered. 

Wellington King are Chartered Building Surveyors and are experienced in undertaking Building Surveys and investigations to include defect analysis and specification of the required remedial measures. We can also review and prepare maintenance schedules / plans for your property to help you plan for required works (and costs) before defects arise.


As chartered Building Surveyors, Wellington King are best placed to advise and prepare Dilapidations claims in line with the Dilapidations Protocol. We will review your lease/tenancy agreement, identifying all relevant clauses and prepare a Schedule of Dilapidation or Scott Schedule, this may be interim or terminal, and negotiate with the other party’s surveyor to agree a settlement. We are able to act on behalf of either building owner or tenant.
