Tendering & Contract
Administration / Employer’s Agent
Tendering and Contract Administration.
Wellington King are experienced in Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent roles, working predominantly with the JCT suite of Contracts on both residential and commercial schemes with Contract values of up to £4m. We would be happy to discuss your specific project needs in more detail and can offer advice on the best form of procurement and Contract for your needs. We can assist in managing design, cost, quality and tailor our service to suit the individual requirement for each project. Our role is to ensure that the project is completed in line with client’s expectations; and in doing so provide service above and beyond that expected by the client.
We believe maintaining good relationships with the project team aids in the smooth running of project on site as a friendly discussion is always the best place to start if ever there are any concerns. We know and implement that good communication and record keeping are the key to a successful construction project.
Why Us.
We would love to discuss your specific requirements and are always happy to incorporate these into a bespoke set of tender documents, which may include preparation of a schedule of works and / or detailed specification to accompany all necessary contract documents. We will oversee the tender process, review the tenders received, advise on value engineering, prepare the final Contract documents and oversee administration of the Contract once executed. We are able to include bespoke monitoring of the Contract Works to incorporate monthly, bi-monthly or weekly inspections as you require.
We know that early liaison with the adjoining owners helps their understanding of the Party Wall process, and they are then more responsive to communications received. We would also aim to have a face-to-face meeting with adjoining owners to address any of their initial concerns with the intended development and Party Wall process. This in turn helps to reduce the time and fees involved in the process.
